it just happened recently this weekend.
my rear turn signal on driver side wont turn off unless i turn lights off, so they wont function as turning signals, they just stay permanently on. same applies to the drivers side side marker and front turn signal.
but they will work normal if my lights are off
also i dont know if this is my problem only or its just something i didnt notice before.
when i turn lights off, and push hazard switch, all the lights in car blink (radio lights, shift light, a/c lights) is that normal?
all i can think of for this problem is jst to unplug and replug wires cuz it happened days after my wheel well blew out on freeway and some wires from fog and sidemarker hung and rubbed on tires.

check those wires this sounds like a false contact somewhere........if when you turn on the hazards every light in the car blinks there is something causing a false contact.......it happened to a friend he changed a brake light bulb but he got a single filament instead of a daul......(he was to lazy to return it).......and whenever he would hit the brakes every light that was linked to the running lights would turn on........

Seeing you have a brake lamp light often i would start out by double checking all the tail lights and blinkers to see if you have a wrong or worn out bulb. If any look suspicious replace it.
Also since you said wires were rubbing, pull those wires out and look for any worn thru. Something is causing a slight short.

ya.. when the hazzards are on.. only the side markers should be blinking.... definetely a short somewhere.... plus its not good for the electrical system if everything is blinking while u have hazzards, it might reduce the light span of the cluster bulbs as well as put a bigger drain on the battery if u do decide using the hazzards when ur car is not working :P

thank you batman and everyone else for your help. i dont know why but either the electrical tape of the sidemarkers came off or i never put them on, the two wires coming out of the sidemarkers were connecting with each other and now they are fine.
