Does anyone know where to get and aftermarket downpipe?

 

That is a good question. I have wnated to experiment with building a down pipe. I think you could realize soon good Hp gains for little $.

 

dont headers come with a downpipe?

 

A downpipe didn't come with the headers on my 3000gt, I assumed they were seperate on this engine too. I don't think the way the pipe curves around from the rear bank is a great design. I was looking for something a little more strait.

 

the down-pipe come with the headers on this car. there are the stone racing heazders, obx headers and comptech headers.

 

It looks like the down pipe is the weak link. I think a well designed down pipe could yield 75%-85% of the gains of a header, unless there is some glaring flow issue with the manifolds. If I get motivated I'd make one. But, headers are so dirt cheap, except the CTs.
