Ugh, I'm so mad, these bastards advertised the radio as coming from a TL. Of course, I had already taken apart my whole console b/f I realized it. I'm so so mad. They better refund my shipping charges!

Don't know what the difference between the two is, but it says on the ebay site for a 01-03 TL and 01-03 CL

They also won't refund radios that don't fit.

Yes, there is a big difference between the two. CL stereo has an built in amp but TL has extenal amp. so if you hook this up to TL it works but you won't have sound! because of the amp issue.
You need to get a 2002-2003 stereo which works in all TL and TLS models from 2000-2003 and maybe 1999.

You must be given credit for this since it was misadvertised.

There are a huge difference between TL & CL radio. The TL radio routes the bose amp to the radio and from radio to speakers. The CL radio has external amp, so the audio goes from head unit to amp, and the amp goes to speakers. In short, CL speakers are connected to amp, while TL speakers are connected to head unit. If you plugged CL HU to TL, you could hear a tiny sound through speakers because of unamplified sound. I tried it once because I have an extra CL HU.

Thier policy states they will first try to replace it b/f they refund money, I'll IM you if they don't have anything...thanks though. However, i should mention that if you wanted to sell it soon, there are always people on the black market on this forum posting wtb for '02 changer.
