Exclamation Door Trim Cracking!! HELP!

Some of you might of had this problem already, but my 99TL's Door Moldings are cracking. The thick black pieces inbetween both doors on both sides of the car is starting to crack and it just keeps getting worse and worse as time goes by. As you can see in the following pics, You'll obviously see what i mean. Has this happened to anyone else already and if so, Can it be fixed or replaced or what? How can i fix that so that it looks nice again?

Driver Side

Passenger Side
NEED HELP! ????

That's an age thing that all of our TLs have or will have, unfortunately. My TL is an 02 and does not have this yet but it is only just a matter of time, I'm sure.

Well I dunno, weather wears things out after a while. My TL stays in the sun a lot and its pillars aren't like that yet. Knock on wood.

that's the B-Pillar they same to shed the tape off - you have a couple of options - replace them $40-50 each (you need 4 total) or take these off and get them painted or lastly replace them with carbon ones....

Parts that you would need

http://www.acuraparts247.com/sunnyside/jsp/home.jsp:

Front door
ITem# 006 Part#/Name 67326-S0K-A00ZA TAPE, R. FR. DOOR (UPPER) (OUTER)
( BLACK ) 1 1999 Acura TL $28.65

Item# 011 Part#/Name 67366-S0K-A00ZA TAPE, L. FR. DOOR (UPPER) (OUTER)
( BLACK ) 1 1999 Acura TL $28.65

Rear Door
Item# 006 Part#/Name 67826-S0K-A00ZA TAPE, R. RR. DOOR (UPPER) (OUTER)
( BLACK ) 1 1999 Acura TL $22.05

Item# 010 Part#/Name 67866-S0K-A00ZA TAPE, L. RR. DOOR (UPPER) (OUTER)
( BLACK ) 1 1999 Acura TL $22.05

These are also the small strips that run over the windows. Damn things are taped you we would all rather they were painted if possible.

Following is the B-Post piece, located under Molding:

Item# 004 Part#/Name 72430-S0K-A01 GARNISH, R. FR. 1 1999 Acura TL $49.54

Item# 008 Part#/Name 72470-S0K-A01 GARNISH, L. FR. 1 1999 Acura TL $49.54

Item# 011 Part#/Name 72930-S0K-A01 GARNISH, R. RR. 1 1999 Acura TL $49.54

Item# 014 Part#/Name 72970-S0K-A01 GARNISH, L. RR. 1 1999 Acura TL $49.54

Again, would be nice if it they were painted parts.

It would be cheaper to have a body shop paint it all!

Take your Pillars and shove it ok LOL. Its all good, i'll probably take them over to a paint shop cuz i kno a guy at an acura dealer's paint shop that does some paint paint stuff on the side. I'm sure i can hook him up wit some in the pocket money to paint them solid black. Atleast they wont be cracking after there painted cuz itll be nice black car paint. Anyways, Thanks you to everyone who responded. Appreciate it. Later.
