I just had the dealer replace my seat bottom (it had a small tear in it when I took delivery and didn't notice it until I got home) and when they removed the seat, the put some small scratches on the plastic door sill. I will probably have them replace it but I wanted to know if this is an easy job...It looks like they are just snapped in to place. Does anyone know for sure how they are held in place?

They are just snap in. You can take it off with your bare hands. Just get your fingers underneath in the middle and pull. no biggie.

 

There are 3 or 4 clip like mechinisums....at the ends and in the middle. Just slip your finger between the carpeting and the plastic door still, and pull up...don't be afriad to pull hard...you won't break anything...when your done...just push on it until you hear a click.
