I read your posts.
Have you heard of wheel balancing while the tire and wheel assembly are under a 700 pound load?
I saw this on Motorweek (Speedvision TV). They balance your tire while loading the tire. The computer looks at the spinning tire and tells the tech to mark the tire and wheel at certain areas. Then the tech remounts the tire with the markings aligned.
I would ask your tech to try this. I dont remember the machines name that did this. I think it was a Watson 8700 or something. This technique of balancing was said to be superior to conventional methods.

Front end...
Gomez -- I have had a similar problem with older european cars. They were however, rear wheel drive. Anyway, have the dealer inspect your car's front end bushings in the wishbone suspension system. Espically the ones that take the impact from hitting pot holes as your car is moving forward.
The point I'm getting to, is that sometimes tire geometry can get screwed up if under constant abuse from bad roads giving you a system where the suspension, and hence the tires, might flex from being perfectly parallel to being slightly pointed inward or outward during forward motion.
The result is a shudder that shows up in the steering system (which can also be caused by a tire that is out of balance statically or dynamically) at about 60 to 80 ( mine showed up at 65 to 70 MPH ).
This is a very difficult problem to solve where the cause can typically be the tires, rotors, or bad suspension parts. I too, felt the way you are feeling now. But I'm sure it will be solved.
Best of luck to you.

Overall, the number of people happy with their Acura's seem to outnumber those with serious problems by a good margin. I have a TL-S and an MDX and haven't had a problem with either car or with the service I've received at the dealership. I'm sorry Gomez is having a problem but it isn't severe enough and hasn't been experienced by enough other TL owners to warrant the strong "buy a Lexus" statement. Besides, I've been on the Lexus forums and the grass doesn't appear to be all that much greener over there. Cars are mass-produced from hundreds of thousands of parts. They sometimes break. The dealers fix them. Sometimes it takes a couple of shots for the dealer to get it right. Occasionally, a lemon gets produced. These are the facts of modern car ownership and in no way unique to Acura.

Is it my imagination, or is my question being avoided?
In all of the years I've been involved with the automobiles as a hobby, and as a profession, I have never seen an OEM aluminum wheel bend without some influence (curb).
The TL is built on the same "global mid-size" platform as the CL, Accord, and Odyssey. That equals roughly 2.5 million units, and this is the only 1 I've heard about with these problems.

I think he might have curbed his rims, and casued the axle to bend or something. That's what I think...... you know.....
or perhaps the axle is F up at the first place.... I don't know....

IT'S ALL GOOD
They are all great cars...
It's just that some may come out with problems, since SO many are produced...
I'm sorry ur tl got screwed, but I still love mine...
Lexus make great cars too, but in a different way, Acuras represent more of the performence side and the sporting side of the car and Lexus show a high level of standards and luxurie...
On street Hondas/Acuras are more known as the king of imports, so i like acura better...lol...anyways....peace

Gomez I think the only person that has a problem here is YOU...you come to a TL board and say that the TL sucks and that people should buy a Lexus, but the case is...your car is the only TL on this board that is doing that, maybe if all TL's had that problem, you should have the right to say that, but yours is the only POS one!!! sorry but gotta hand it to you straight!!!
See you later when you roll in a Lexus...another member gone and another member forgotten...
