HEY what UP!!
YO I am messeging from Ottawa, Canada and I got my self a 2000 TL and now I have a little problem, when i'm driving my car's dome light comes on all of a sudden and it says that the back door is open, but it's not. and also when i'm parked the factory alarm comes on because the dome light comes on all of a sudden.
Can u guys help me out please!!!!!!!

 

Check the switch for the door in question. Either the it's no longer grounding, a loose wire or the switch is bad. It should be no big deal.

 

There is a service bulletin for this .It suggests replacing the front door pin switches .The bulletin was more about noise but in many cases when these switches make noise they also allow the interior light to go ballistic.Jens
