i still get attention once in awhile

 

Some dude on the freeway gave me thumps up and said nice ride today.

 

Not so much, as my car isn't in the best shape. Also it's 100% stock, with my new bulbs I get compliments on my lights and about the back end of the car, dual exhaust is ftw.

 

Got two "If you're ever selling your car, let me know" comments. Last night and today.

 

Not sure if I shared this before..but it was about half a year ago, It was at night and I was at the drive-thru at McDonald's, trying to grab my meal from my car. My car was a little bit too far and I couldn't reach it, so I had to open my door. My dome light came on obviously, and the girl handing me my meal went, "WOW!!! so cool! is that purple??" I was like, "Thanks, it's blue actually."

lol, may be..but her facial expression was hilarious...her eyes just widened and her mouth just went -- > O....lol

 

TLs still turn my head (well, the 02s/03s)...even more-so now since I don't have my '02 TL anymore.

 

Yeah mines still turns heads...NBP with 15% tint... people have this confused look on their face like what kind of car is that.

 

I 've got a salesman here at my job who constantly asks me about my car. What year is it, how much do you owe on it, did you drop it, what kind of wheels are those, etc...? Man that car sure is sweet. Doesn't matter how many times I answer his questions, he always has more. He's cool though so I don't care.

 

Mine still turns heads when its shinny, I think there are only 2 tl's in my whole town though, everyone loves trucks here.

 

i live near a park and there was this one old man i always see that walks his dog and when he saw me washing my car, he told me "nice car" although there are many cons to my TL-S. My TL-S is completely 100% stock but I believe the wing is what got its good looks. ~

 

I jutt bought my 6th TL from a member on here ! i have had bmw 5-7 series Lexus Gs . and plenty of Tls and i tell u sumthing this 03 TL Type S AM i own now turns more head then Sharapova On the streets lol......yesterday 3 Jamaican guys driving new S63 fully hookedup on traffic light rolled the window down and said mon your car is Clean you wanna trade! i said thanks man but if we trade will u still make payments for that S Class lol...it was so Funny! Doesnot matter if your car is 10 or 20 years old if its in excellent shape and little modified u will break necks

 

i give people whiplash when they see the TL...LOL!!! but 4 really they get whiplash.

 

I was at a bbq this weekend, and my car was parked on the road near a 06 honda accord. Everyone kept asking me what year the car was because it looked a lot nicer than the honda.

 

sometimes, not as much as i'd like.
