Does you trunk opener work?
Hi Guys,
May be it's jsut me, but the trunk opener in the driver's door doesn't work in my car.. May be I dont know how to make it work but I just push the little square button and the trunk doesnt open.. tried with the key in the starter, then out.. then the engine running, then in park, etc... DOES not work.. ANy opinion?

You've probably got it locked. Open your glove box, on the left side there will be a switch, I believe it should be in the up position (I could be wrong about the direction). Either way switch it up if it's down and vice versa. That will allow you to use the button again. They made this feature so that the valets can't open your trunk without the master key, you switch the switch and lock the glove box. A nice feathure if you ask me.

I'd guess that the switch is in "valet" mode also.
When I received the initial overview from the dealer, he turned the switch to disable the trunk release. I afterward found the problem, and threw the glove compartment switch to " dis-able".
Too many things to keep track of, IMHO!
