Does anyone use the sunroof visor?

I am wondering if anyone uses the sunroof visor and if so if it helps cut down the wind noise? I live in California and I don't feel like I can enjoy the great weather that often because of the excessive wind noise when the sunroof is open. Also, if any of you could recommend a place to get one, it would be much appreciated.

I have the OEM visor from Acura and the wind noise is reduced drastically. I am assuming that it is loud without the visor.

I don't have the visor. The only drawback to having the visor is that there is now 1 additional part that can potentially rattle. had one on my prior Accord.

I had the visor on for 2 months. When I took it off here is what I notice:

0) The visor leaves a mark on your paint..for me its hardly noticeable being that I took it off within 2 months.
1) Sun gets in your eyes ... you really feel it when you have moon roof open.
2) The wind noise in the cabin is definately more. Extremely loud at times.
3) Passengers in back seat complain of wind and sun hitting their face.

I like the look of my car without the visor, but having the visor is a definate benefit.

I have it and I love it for the most part. It does reduce the wind turbulence. However, when you are going 135MPH, it makes a lot of noise.

I think that's normal. If you driving 135MPH and you don't any noise, you have big~ problems with your ears. j/k

I have a visor and I'm glad I have one. I got the visor as a consideration from the salesman in lieu of a favorable survey about my experience

Here my 2 bits..... It is a choice of functionality vs looks. Some people think it disrupts the smooth look of the car. However, the benefits of not being blinded with the shade open and the reduction of in-cabin wind/noise made me keep it on......

I had the visor on for less than 10 days and it left marks on my paint bad enough that I took it back to have the area wetsanded and re-clearcoated. Needless to say I have no love for them.

I had one on my 1992 Accord, and it made a difference, noise wise, however the paint does become damaged around the rubber gasket, and as such, I have never put one on any of my present vehicles.

I have the visor on my 2000TL it does help reduce wind turbulance at highway speeds with roof open.
I got the visor & install free from dealership because I did not get carpeted floor mats. The mats the dealer was throwing in for free. It been on the car since 12/24/99 I have not had any problems. I also had the visor on my 1994 ACCORD that I had for 6yrs. I just wash up under the visor with the water hose & put some rubber protectant around gasket. I never have taken the visor off the either car.
