The dealer just called me and said they would cover 10% of a new tranny!
So $4000+ for a tranny from them and this is my 3rd tranny!

That person is not a tech or warranty rep- can only read from the book, and has no firm info on anything else-- they only answer phones...
they DO write down every word you say and open a case file #
a real acura manager reads it, assigns case to an acura regional rep who calls the dealer SM for their side of the story, may have to talk to their own manager,
then calls you.
Thats why it can take a day to get sorted out before you talk with them

Everyone can use that number to register with acura as the owner- any recall notices get mailed to the cars last known address, keep it current
Ask them about any open recalls or extended warranty on your car, the TL has a few
also register here- different system and can look up info about your car
