Just wondering if the 01 CL has the auto up feature on the driver's side window? also will it fit on a 99 TL? Thanks..

 

No, the 2001 CL does not have teh auto up feature on the driver's side window. I believe that came in 2003.

 

Has anyone changed out their non-auto up window switch with one that is? Is this just plug n' play? I know that the 2002 TL-type s has the auto up feature..does anyone know if the 2001 TL came with it?

 

It is possible but be prepared to spend a nice amount of money.

 

why would I have to spend alot of money? I can get one for 40 bucks used...I don't need to change the ecu or anything right? I would think the window control regulate the current going to the window motor...not the ecu right? anyone?

 

There is the master switch, also a control unit behind the door panel AKA door multiplex, and the Auto controller for the switch itself. I'm not sure if the connector is there for the auto controller on your model car. You want to be darn sure that the multiplex units will communicate with one from a different year/diff.system car.
