BigNard, drug dealers were brought by up Hemunts just as an example - of course not all people who buy chrome wheel are drug dealers! I actually said that they belong to a broader category of people who, in my opinion, lack taste. Same goes to wearing of a dozen of two pound gold chains and 300-carat rings. But tastes are debatable. That's why I mentioned that there is no production car with the chrome wheels - as an argument. I still believe it's a better argument than calling people retarded and BS. And I appreciate your reply because you were arguing instead of calling names. As it was stressed before - the guy was asking for an opinion...

Exactly, there is no right answer. It's a matter of taste.

Opinions are like A-holes, everyone has one and the original poster asked for them and he got them. End of story.

In my humble opinion.....the rims by themselves are striaght....i share some of the same concerns that chrome on our cars (especially to the excess that that particular rim has) may be a little off when placed on our rides. Although, this is just my opinion, I just like the way our cars are, not to showy, like a Mercedes, not to ricey, like the Hondas, but right smack dab in the freakin' middle.

Like gregtomash said, only a thin layer produces the chrome look (it is called galvanization aka chrome plating) but the main reason that chrome is not used is due the large upkeep costs. I used work for NTB and a mechanic shop some time ago and we hated seeing the chrome rims cause we had to do more prep work for them compared to the steel and alloys.....

I thought that the initiator of the thread was seeking an opinion?!?!? The chrome may not be for drug dealers, rappers, and the such, but those chrome rims do look more suitable on a Mustang or any other vehicle of that caliber......but hemants, gregtomash, kevicody, some of ya'll responses are hilarious.... thanks for the laugh guys.....

I know some of ya'll are going to reem me on this, but take in to account that I am new..... so, peace easy....

EHEHEH Well i would of cource sell my existing wheels that i have equity in, at which point it would be a minimal charge to upgrade to the Five's. Mugen and WW Kit are going to be stright out of pocket, and im just not willing to do that right now

Chrome isnt for drug dealers just because it cost a little more but it cost a little more for a reason so everyone wont have it like cheap silver rims...thats like sayin y buy some jordans for $150 when u can buy some Reebok for $70???

I like the 2004 stock rims better. I wonder if they fit my 2002 TLS?

There is no productin car with stock chrome wheels? What about a Cadillac STS, Bentley Arnage, Ford F150 Harley edition? are they just highly polished alloys or something. BTW chrome can look great on our cars (especially NBP).
