Do these work with '00 TL ?

Wondering if this fob for a '03+ model work with my '00 TL ? as in all the buttons and functions.

Just because I want a new look and the original fob is ugly.

look inside your remote- there is a code to say what model it is
Example you have a A model now- it wont work off a remote unit B or C, has to be the same one.
You can buy one on the bay and still have to program it to the car- dealer can do.

Or get a new one from acura parts at the dealer and they will program it for you

And you like your "honk" when you press it twice also?

The newer ones look better and has the "beep" when pressed twice.

my car was rebuilt prior to buying it and somebody must have put a replacement alarm (00-03) so NO i dont enjoy a honk, its a polite little chirp for the alarm.. and a honk for the horn lol

They won't work with older TL's, only 02+. If you're bored with your remote maybe try painting the case? Spray paint it silver or whatever color you like and then get a fine point brush and some paint from an arts and craft store (or Wally world in their arts and craft section) in red or some other color to paint the ACURA letters.
