Post Do I need to align new tires or just mount and balance??

I bought some new 205/50/17 ZR Kumhos to put on some rims for my TL. I had them mounted and balanced and the alignment still seems to be pretty good. Question, Do I have to have these computer aligned or just as is. I want them to last so any suggestions???

Do the alignment..... It's pretty much standard proceedure for new tires, especially if you want them to last.

I don't belive so, you are doing nothing to affect the camber or the toe, by just changing the wheels.

You do not have to do an alignment. New tires have nothing to do with the suspension alignment.

2000 Satin Silver TL
* Factory Bodykit
* Type S rims
* Comptech Springs
* Inspire Tails
* Burlwood knob
* ?% Tint

Ordered: AEM SRI (blue)

Just mount and balance. Alignment is required only if you are messing with your suspensions.

Pix please!

Check your old tires to see if they are worn evenly. Also, check to see if you car pulls to one side or not when at freeway speed. Usually, when you change to new tires, you do not need an alignment.
