Omg, I too was in shock when I found out how expensive one bulb was. I believe the cheapest I found locally was $101.67 and I was like nope just ordering it online. Which to my surprise I was able to get two for roughly $40 on Amazon. Then, got the brilliant idea of getting the "30,000k" because purple is my favorite color and they were the same price. Might I say that was probably the single most ignorant decision I have ever made. Yeah, they're pretty, they illuminate signs/reflective objects extremely well and originally I was ecstatic. Then I moved to the country...no reflective anything. I learned real quick that I was possibly going to die if I didn't get rid of them and go back to the original lights. You're 100% correct...you can't see shit with them, they blind other drivers and God forbid it happens to be raining. My advice is the same...leave them alone and go with the original replacement, bright white or cool blue. Your safety is way more important than looking cool.

30,000k (purple) and I will never make that mistake again!

Hey, I just bought one for $2500 with 70k miles! I thunk I can handle the bulbs for that price.
