Question do the 2001 TL doors lock automatically

When you shift into drive, do the doors lock automatically or not?

Do you have the car?
Well, I guess not, that's why u r asking.

I don't remember on stock but now it does lock now when I go above 15mph.
I have clifford alarm. It's one of the features.

Try to go over 15mph. I think it will lock. If not bring it back claim that it did and ask them to exchange it for 2002 cause you really wanted that feature and the one you test drove did jk

My 99 doesn't lock automatically when I shift or when I go over 15 mph.

It only locks if I don't put the key in the ignition the first 30 sec of getting in the car.

I don't think it has RPM autolock. I also got that feature now by adding a Clifford Alarm on my 2000TL.

You both are correct, but go unlock your car, get in, close the door and just sit there for 30 secs. Wanna real treat? Start the car after the doors lock.
