Try to go over 15mph. I think it will lock. If not bring it back claim that it did
and ask them to exchange it for 2002 cause you really wanted that feature and the one you test drove did

My 99 doesn't lock automatically when I shift or when I go over 15 mph.
It only locks if I don't put the key in the ignition the first 30 sec of getting in the car.

I don't think it has RPM autolock. I also got that feature now by adding a Clifford Alarm on my 2000TL.

nope mot mine either, unless i unlock them and never open the door. then they would lock on thier own.
