DIY grill supplies from arospeed

Don't know if anyone is aware of this but....I Was doing a little surfing after work and found some mesh grill and round holed grills. They claim it will "fit in just about any grill on any car." The colors are Red, Black, Blue or Silver. Sounds like a possibility, cost is $29. I think it would be a nice DIY project with some proper direction. Won't have to use flimsy gutter gaurd. And fastening (hopefully without using zip ties) would also be a challenge if you don't use the existing grill parts. Hopefully someone will take this for action.

If you want some aluminum mesh you can try Folia tec at your local auto stores. These meshes you can cut to fit and paint onto them. They also won't rust

The DIY mesh grill looks good and is easy. I took me about an hour to do. I got a sheet (5' x 3') mesh at my local HOME DEPOT for 5 buck. Best thing is if you don't like the way it looks, you can take it out. I finished it by taking the circle off the ACURA "A" just to be unique.

I'm now working on a billet style grill. I'm using 10 gauge steel rods. Drilling holes in the outer ring and lining them up with a custom bend down the center of the grill.

It always makes you feel good when you put in the work yourself, rather than just ordering a bunch of crap from a catalog.

no, I didn't cut the black peice at all. It helps the mesh keep it form.
