what is the diy for the 99 chrome shiftgate. i searched it but found nothing

 

well you can try soaking it in nail polish remover and then rubbing the paint off but i heard that hurts your hands >_<

another way would be to go to a store and pick up some grafitti remover. heard that works as well.

 

just get some grafitti remover or a little paint remover and coat the surface ant watch the gray turn into chrome

 

I had a DIY but after the last SQL conversion it was lost alont with a lot of other threads....


Go to home depot, get the tall white can of "Grafitti Remover". Spray it on the shift gate after removing it from the car, wait 50 seconds, and rinse it off. Your done!
