I will be doing this over the winter. I was half tempted to do a front end conversion just for the headlights. . . But I love my 01' front end so much

Helppppppp....

so i didnt have silicone but i had time to change my cracked old one...this is my 3rd set...sob...did it differently this time around...insight anyone...

before

after

behind

why doesnt the hid turn all the way to lock into place....jus a lil

my old fog were connected to the parking brakes...so i want to redo everything to hav a switch for it...but my wires arent the same colors...so confused....i read many of the post....started being helpful around the 50s den i got lost..

so heres what im thinkin....instead of using the cars fuse box....doesnt it already come with a fuse....

so i would jus need the switch rite...cant i jus throw away the grey connectors n jus use extra wires as an extensions...connect the fuse cable to the battery (like the amplifiers fuse)...

am i getting somwhere here?

also...what is the relay for?

The relay is for the switch

When the switch is switched from on to off the relay kicks in

You can wire it straight to the battery, or just try and find another constant source for power. Tap into whatever has constant power. You aren't going to the car's fuse bow for the fuse. You are tapping into the fuse bow to get power. The fogs should have a fuse of its own.

I picked up some fogs off of eBay and they don't fit into the pocket. I heard some people say they had to modify the fog light housing and some say it fit perfect. Can someone tell me which fogs they picked up with out modifying the foglight housing to fit? Thanks!

there aren't any, i used the 01-03 civic fogs and i had to cut away at the housing, you wouldn't be able to tell because the parts that i cut are behind the bumper. dremel is your best friend.

Thanks bro! Just wanted to make sure before I start cutting away! I'm going to start this project tonight! One other question, did you mount your HID ballast in the bumper or on the frame?

i got the ballasts with mounting eyes in them, so i was able to bolt them to the frame. i don't like trusting double sided tape.

Good to know, I have them fitted into my bumper now, and will do the wiring tonight after work. Thanks again, and I'll try and post pics after the install.

If you do back thru the thread you will see a detailed explanantion with a picture that shows where to push out the plug. It's located above the gas pedal.
