DING KING "as seen on tv"
have any of you guys tried it? I have a small door ding in my drivers door, and I was thinking about trying it. Not sure if its worth the 25 bucks though. Im just a lil scared it might make the dent worse! if any of u tried it.....did it work? or was it useless? Let me know. Thanks

I saw one of those guys on TV that tests stuff for the local news test one. He said that they generally turn one small dent into two larger ones where the pads are. It only works on flat thick metal, and then it actually does pretty well. But I figure that the TL metal is on the thin side to save weight, so I wouldn't chance it.

I remember seeing Channel 4 News Consumer Report in Bay Area did a test on this stuff. Overall, it may help but you will never completely get the dent out using this tool. It will not look as smooth and clean compare to the one done by professional. I did it once at a shop call Dent Pro and cost me $80 to remove a small ugly dent.
Good Luck.

One of my friends just recently bought the Ding King and used it on his WRX. It took out about 80% of the ding..but there is still a ding. If the ding isn't too bad..meaning the ding isn't deep, it'll take it out..otherwise, safe your money and take it to a professional body shop.

It should be called "Dent King"
Because I suspect it only works on dents, not dings.
If you have a dent, this thing might be able to "pop" it back out. But, a ding is another matter. Dings are usually smaller, cause the metal to deform at the point of impact, and usually involve damage to the paint.
I say pass it up unless you have a dent that looks like it might pop back out.

Friend of mine owns a used car dealership and has a guy come by ( on site) to remove dings. it is about $50 bucks canadian for the first and $10 for every other ding.
I would say look for someone in your area with the same kind on deal. one ding might be expensive but to get every little ding out for 80-90 bucks would be a great price.
Just my 2 cents
