I noticed on my 99' TL-P that the Digital/LCD Odometer/Temperature/Trip meter section right below the speedometer is dim.

I dont think it's wired to the regular interior lights because when i adjust those, it stays VERY dim lit.

At one point, it shut off for about 1-2 seconds, then lit back up.


Are there bulbs that i can replace in there to remedy?

I forgot the part# for the voltage regulator, though. The parts department at a dealership should be able to find it for you. You'll have to take apart the dashboard and gauge cluster to replace it, but it was reasonably easy. Good luck!

 

I have the same problem on my '99. It stays dim even when the lights are off. Not bad for 116k miles, though.
