Difficult Time Starting Engine
Does anyone know where the fuel pump is located inside the gas tank on the 2003 TL? Is toward the front of the tank?
Last night, I parked on a slight upgrade (front of the car was about 10 degrees higher than back). On seven tries, the car would not start. I finally took the key out of the switch, put it back in and it started.
About a mile down the road the gas light came on.
Could it have been a key issue (i.e., for some reason the chip in the key didn't give the right info to the switch) or a low fuel problem?

Something tells me this may have been a key problem. When you shut the car off it's supposed to retain fuel pressure up by the injectors so it should have had enough to start, albeit not for long. I'm assuming the car was running fine when you shut it off.
