I have a 99 Firepepper Red TL with the tan interior

needless to say, my driver's seat is getting a little worn

so given that i can find a replacement seat.....is it difficult to actually replace??

anybody have any experience and can provide some tips?

 

Its easy. Its just 4 bolts and the electrical plug. Take your headrest off before you take it out of the car. The seat weighs a ton.

second......is it possible to put in TL-S seats, or even CL seats??? that would be hot if i could

 

ANY SEAT FITS, JUST CHANGE THE RAILS FROM YOUR SEATS TO THE ONES YOU'RE PUTTING IN, sorry for caps! the seats cost like $275 just to ship! heavy bastards!!! so if cost is an issue? i was looking at getting $300 for 1 front each as a pkg, which is an excellent price considering new seats run $4,000 plus! so $875 total w/ shipping. someone will buy them if that's too much? let me know...thanks, S

thanks for the offer though and for the information....i think i'd like to look for some TL-S or CL seats to go in the front, i'd like that

 

finally found them and even though they were 2003 they were ebony, so i had to tear off brand new hide and replace, but the perf leather isn't my cup of tea, so it worked out. TL-S seats don't have the leg and side bolster's that the CL seats do! TL-s seats are the same as ours. YOU WANT CL-TYPE-s sport buckets!

 

Anyone have any pics of second generation CL seats??
