Diamond Nichrome Tint

Hi Guys,

I just got my car tinted and I got this type of tint made by sunguard called Diamond Nichrome tint. At first I was skeptical when the guy was telling me how much better than normal Sunguard tint and Lumar tint it was. I was ready for him to tell me for that for only 100 bucks more you can have all this and more. He said it keeps 30% more heat out than standard tint. I was sold when he took me into the store and showed me this setup they had there. They had this type of heating lamp which you put your hand under. He then slipped in different types of tint and showed the amount of heat blockage. Man did it make a difference. My finacee tried the test too and we were sold. And the good thing is that it was only 20 bucks more. They had other tints by this brand called Hubner Optics but man... they were like 600 bucks a car to tint. I was curious if anyone else has gotten Diamond Nichrome tint and if they enjoy it as much as I do.

Anyone use Hubner Optics?

I got mine done in Houston at Executive Motoring Boutique. They have a website www.executivemotoring.com The guy named Matt there is really nice and helpful. A pleasent surprise compared to some people who work in auto shops liek this. What is even sweeter is they have this kind of insurance plan on the tine. For 25 bucks I think, if anything happens to the tint they will replace it for free for a lifetime. Sounds like any old warranty right? Wrong! If I scratch the tint, they will replace it. If someone breaks a window, the tint is replaced for free. I get into an accident and all four windows break; he will do it all for free. He even offered to tint my car with the Diamond Nichrome Tint in the Limo Color and said in a week if I do not like it bring it back and they will swap it out for me for free. He said sometimes people just want to have fresh tint on their cars so they can scratch it on purpose and he will take care of it. Only thing is though you can't lose the receipt. They will not honor the warranty if you do not have paper work to back it up. Other than that nothing is wrong with the deal. They have been around for 10 years and they say they have done 100,000 cars. I hope this helps some people out.

Oh sorry, metallic tint is not silver... that is unless you want the silver finish. I chose normal old black but he offered me silver.

I went to executive motoring. I got some kind of half mirror tint/ half black. IT does keep out a lot more heat.

Both locations are in Texas. Can anyone recommend a comparable and reputable shop such as Executive Motoring in the Southern California area? The $25 insurance policy sounds too good to be true...
