diameter of exhaust

I was at pep boys yesterday and saw the 3A racing tips and was about to get them but didnt know what the size of the exhaust is. I believe 2.5" but not sure...Can somebody let me know???

ya i was also wondering how do they get the tips on? any welding?

no there are like 4 screws that tightens into the pipe...no welding

i personally think that the tips that are screwed in look really really cheap, id just weld it on, most places jsut charge liek 5 bucks to do it too.
