the only new nsx you'll probably see is the NSX-R and I don't think Honda will bring that in since its debut in the biannual Tokyo autoshow in November.

the only changes are the exposed headlamps, carbon fiber hood, catfish front end, 17" type R wheels, recaro sport buckets, and rear carbon fiber spoiler.

The US version won't be getting the carbon fiber versions of the hood and spoiler...probably the same plastic or aluminum they use now. The recaro seats and wheels most definitely won't make it into the US version.

same as the current 3.2L dohc v6 motor too. we really are going to have to wait until 2004 for the completely revised (and probably steel paneled) NSX.

unfortunately a lame-a$$ attempt to feed our hunger...

i'm going to NAIAS first day!

fred3113,

Hope to see you at the NAIAS on the first day. I'll be snapping up pictures and posting them to this site (sad to say I don't have a digital cam but will get the 35mm film processed the same day). I am eagerly awaiting what goodies the major manufacturers have to offer.

I am HOPING that I can get a copy of the press-release kits -- they have some amazing glossy pics to scan / post. (I have access to the BMW press kit from last year ... all I can say is WOW. No wonder cars cost so much -- marketing blows it on photos on glossy paper...)

its about time they made those type of headlights for the NSX..i never liked the pop-up version that are on the NSX now. i remember when the mitsubishi 3000GT had pop-up headlights and they converted them to the exposed headlights...much better looking. besides, those pop-ups are just asking for problems...i remember when the old accords had pop-ups and occasionally, you would see them on the road with one side up and the other side now.

Take pictures of all the hybrid gas/electric cars you see!

BTW, most car manufacturers have shied away from pop-up lamps because they tend to fail pedestrian crash "compatibility" standards.

Check out the Odessey also. I know they are hard to come by but at $27,100 for an EX, you can't go wrong. Group buy on this at Frank Anconda? I'm in..

Do you think Frank would give us a deal on two? I can't buy until I find a job, but as soon as I get something setup...we will be buying a van.
