Straight from automotivenews.com:
Honda Motor Co. will unveil the Model X pickup/SUV hybrid concept and Acura its RS-X prototype sports coupe at the Detroit auto show.
Acura also is planning to debut its production 3.2 TL Type S sedan, set for market in the 2002 model year.
The Honda debut is scheduled Jan. 9, while Acura will display its concept Jan. 8.
The Model X, billed by Honda as the "ultimate road trip" vehicle, was developed by Honda R&D Americas and designed at the company's Los Angeles Center.
The Acura RS-X prototype will be the company's first vehicle in North America to have Honda's new i-series VTEC engine, which is 10 percent lighter and more compact than a standard I-4 engine.
The company will produce a version of the RS-X to replace the Integra. A luxury vehicle based on the three-door, four-passenger concept will hit the market late in 2001.

yep, pretty much the TL-X that i saw a pic of... only now reffered to as the TL-S.
shares a lot in common w/the cl of course, but as TL always has and always will be... MUCH MUCH BETTER (LOOKING) Than that cl/rl or anyother car they make.
i definitely likes...
but i doubt i'll trade in my TL for another one.
i think M3 or CLK is calling my name, gotta go

Those look like the exact same rims as the CL-S. The new cleared headlight treatment looks sweet, although it looks like the TL-S is going to get the CL-S "road lamps" rather than true foglights.
~Almost~ makes me wish that I had waited a couple more months for the TL-S instead of getting a CL-S (I often give ppl rides, and they would have appreciated the extra doors), but then I'd still be stuck with my old car (a '94 Sentra SE-R, a "pocket rocket" like no other :-)). Actually, I'd be stuck period, as I can't even get my SE-R started now!

Perforated leather is leather that has holes in it to abosrb the heat. They are the most comfortable leather seats made becasue they also contour to your body and they are sporty like. They come standard in the cl-s, which are different than the seats standard on the cl-p and the TL. Once u sit in them , u will never want to sit in your own car again.

Couple of observations on this design sketch:
1) The headlights are not like the CL-S. If you look closely - the round hi-beams are digging into the bumper more than the rest of the headlight - kinda like all those spy sketches/photoshop jobs of the future integra that have been circling around for months now.
2) The bumper/foglight treatment of the car looks a LOT like the special SEMA blue CL-S that snook has posted pictures of a while back.
Just my humble opinion.

I like the new front end design. The headlights have a more interesting look to them. I like the round high beam that cuts into the front bumper. The front bumper with the fogs looks more aggressive too. Not enough for me to trade in my 2000 TL though.
It's not that different then the current TL,
OT: The RS-x or whatever the coupe is called, looks just like the accord coupe, it could be the next gen accord coupe pretty much. But it's not.

Of course we will have to wait just about a month for the photos. But note that the front profile was always being criticized as bland. Note the power bulge in the hood. The fog lights and bumper will dispel this critique. It also looks like it has been lowered slightly. Its going to be a long month and then a longer wait till April.

Looking at the picture more closely, and having another cup of coffee
, I think that sketch was probably done in Japan. With the H being on the grill, no sunroof, and if you look real close, it looks like it is right hand driven, see how the dash appears to come up on the right side ?

Look closely....
1. The grill is larger and borders the headlights. (CL has a large gap, TL currently has a even larger gap)
2. Headlight cut into the bumper, an effect like on the 325.
3. Headlight also extends to the side.
Personally, I like the design.
I just wonder how close the production TL-S will look.
