you can fit pretty much any deck you want as long as you get a custom made dash kit for the double din head unit and correct wiring harness, for the dash kit go the the Black Market and go to Sponsored Sales and check Unclad4

my guess is that you should be able to fit that in your deck. if you go to circuit city.com or crutchfield they will tell you most double dins dont fit even though they really do.

maybe you should think about an Pioneer avic series. Alot of Azine members already have them installed so you know it fits.

i just had an jvc EXAD kd-nx5000 installed, i think its probably top 3 headunits you can find right now but it doesn't fit flush like the double din pioneer units. however, the fact that it has a built in harddisc and allows you to use gps and play music at the same time, plus a boatload of other crazy features make up for the odd fitment..

In the link you gave for the Alpine.. if you go to the pictures and click "Alternate View" it looks like the screen actually flips down and goes inside.. is this true or am i just imagining it? cuz that would be really nice if it hides away..

it tilts towards you slightly to eject and insert cds, and allow access for the blackbird navi unit.

and a-spek... for the love of god, don't get any work done from best buy or futureshop. buy a dash kit off of uncald4 and get a buddy that you really trust to put it in for you. or if you have the money get some place locally to do it

okay okay.....not bestbuy or futureshop. Any reason why?

How about audiovideo2001.com? These guys are specialized for this kind of stuff. Anyone has experiences with these guys?

Who is unclad4 for anyway?

with futureshop/bestbuy, they pick up nobodies with any skilled trade exp, train them, and send em in the shop, yes u will find some who do know what they are talking about, but i wouldnt trust any major retail company....specially for buying the units, compared prices, shop around and u'll find better prices at a specialized audio shop.

http://audioheaven.ca/

they are affiliates with TAC....

Hey you can also contact SLS 416-740-4757 (Etobicoke region). Talk to guy named Harry, last time I went there he was selling the same alpine unit. You may get a better deal then at bestbuy.
