Is that true?? cuz i got 225/55/16 on my stock rim. Delaer will not do an allignment because i have wider tire???!!! Is that really true???

 

What they don't like your money ???? there is no reason to not do the alignment what a bunch of chickens!!

My car is lowred w/ comptech.
The reason? cuz its not Stock wide tire..you know more wider~! Can't believe. So that means i got to switch to 205/60/16? I went to local tire shop and they told me this size is kind of rare.. damn! dealer!

 

You know, you can take it to another alignment place instead of the dealer.

HOT - Which dealer is this? You should be able to take it to any tire shop, like Mr Tire, Kimmell, or anything like that and they should be able to align your car for you

I took my to the local dealer last week for an alignment, and they were real busy. The customer service manager told me they use a shop down the street to do alignments anyway and just tack on an extra 10 bucks. He sent me down there and told me who to ask for. The guy used to work in the Acura shop, but now did alignments at this other shop. I had no problems with car height (I have Comptech springs) or tire width (225/55/16).

Yup, you can take it to any tire store and they'll do the alignment for you. I usually would not go to the dealer to do it simply because they'd charge so much more for the same job.

I went to several tire shops such as NTB, Kemmel,ect,. all of them told me that they cant do it cuz my car is Lowred and have Bodykit on it, which mean too low..cant clear the allignment machine as they claim.
However dealer did my allignment when i had my stock tire. Just because my tire is little out of factory spec, they simply won't do the same job. WTF?~!@! Shame on that acura dealer
