IS Dealer trying to screw me?
Well I went to the dealer because the left passenger arm rest was coming out, so they replaced , under warranty, no arguments. Well when i come to pick up the car, I saw they put on the new arm rest, but its not the same color as the other ones!! My 2000 TL has black exterior and interior, and the armrest they gave me a light black shade and you can easily tell the difference between the one they put on and the other ones...So I ask the dealer if they put on or ordered the wrong one and he gave me this excuse, he said it was the right part and after a while, once it gets grease and people puttin their arms on it, it'll become darker...wel what do you all think, is he telling the truth, because my car only has 37,000 miles on it and I bought it used so I cant say what everything looked like when it was brand new.

I can see the dealer's explanation to be somewhat valid. If you picked up the car used or even as a demo, that means other people have driven it before and you don't know if they applied some stuff on the inyteriors or what kind of skin lotion they used (rubs off on the arm rests after a while). Dealers also put some cheapo stuff on used cars inside and out to make them look nice so it can be sold quickly. They even apply black liquid shoe polish on the tires to make the tires look new.
Dunno bout the 2000 but the 02/ 03 "ebony" interior is actually dark gray and not black.
