Dealer Problem!
Dealer Problem!
Here is the deal:
I have moisture in my rear taillamp. I called Gillman Acura in Houston(place were i bought my car) to see if it would be covered under the Acura Certified Warranty since I have 60K miles and warranty is up at 62K miles. The guy told me that he would have to look at it. So I made an appointment and drove 3 hrs to get to the dealer to look at it. After 10 min, he told me that "cosmetics" arent covered under warranty. Why couldnt he tell me this over the phone instead of wasting my gas and time? Do you think the dealer should do this with their free will?
I called Acura Customer Care and reported the problem, a few days ago, but haven't heard a reply. What type of reply should I expect, if any?
This really ticked me off!! Gillman Acura of Houston SUCKS at service. This is not the first time Ive had a problem with them.

Try a different Dealer. You dont have to go to the dealer you bouhgt your car from. When you talk to the other dealer mention to them the way you where treated in an attemp to pin their customer service against each other. They may fix your problem, doesnt seem cosmetic to me.
