Does anyone's dealer install any aftermarket alarms? If so, do they sell a Clifford line called the Prime Level 2, 3, ... upto 6 i think. Anyone know the difference between these ones and the ones installed through the local shops (ie.Arrow3, Concept Series, etc,...)? I was thinking about getting a Concept 400, but I know someone at a dealer in my area and they sell the Clifford Prime Level series at a reasonable price, but I haven't been able to get very much info. on them.

I have the Concept 600 it is the phatest Alarm. I have auto window up and proxi sensor and motion sensor on it. Even when you just kick the tire or rim a chrip goes off. I haven't hooked it up with a laptop yet but the things you could do with that are crazy. I say go with the concept. But the only bad thing is Clifford filled Chapter 11. So I believe Viper has purchased all the patents. Just check with the dealer where you can bring any warranty issues. My installer said to just bring it to him he would handle it.

Clifford makes the best alarms bar none. I have the Intelliguard and it does everything but drive for me. I think that option comes out next year. ![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/smile.gif)
TL Daddy has the same alarm and he loves it too.

Those brands are kind of the same. Clifford sells to a lot of companies and just markets different names. Just look at the features each alarm has.
I think DEI bought out Clifford.
