De-Badge pics and no mudflaps :)

Well...even though it looks like an ant went ice skating around the area i de bdged...i still like it. You can till KNDA see the 3.2 tl..any ideas? I already waxed it. I think it might still be some sticky stuff, hopefully not paint damage.

As for the mudflaps..if anyone says it looks better with them on, hey lie...im considering leaving them off even thought there is slight damage...it just looks so much cleaner and sleek. tell me wat you think guys!

Cleaner wax will take off the haze of the emblems. It's also common to remove A C U R A as well. It looks much better with the flaps off but you do have some unsightly damage there from them. I still vote to keep em off. Buff it out best you can and use touch up paint.

LOL, you will get use to it. Working on your car usually always hurts you. But the more you do it, the more you will save $$$ and feel acomplished that you did it yourself. When you get some time browse around this site, use the search feature and look for DIY info. It's very rewarding, and you will save a bundle instead of going to the stealership.

Again, nice work on the de-badge. It's only the start to the mod addiction. I had 3 Integras, and an RSX all modified, so when I got this car I said NO MORE. LOL well take a peek at my sig.

just so you know....removing the mudflaps will cause rocks to hit your doors, and you will see paint chips missing. it won't take long.
but if you like it then keep it, or if there are no rocks/road debris in your area you should be good.

^ Try Meguair's Scratch-X first before taking out an orbital ... it might be enough to get out the scratches (well, it worked on my wife's TSX when I debadged it last weekend).

As for mudflaps, it might be a good thing to take them off since they dig away at the paint where the mudflap meets up with the car (as seen in the pics). However, the downside, as Murky has already stated ... more chance for stones to hit the paint on the lower part of the doors. Pros and cons to making the car look a little 'different'.

I never regretted taking off the mudflaps to the TL ... but that's because I added the optional skirt kit and had no choice ...

Nice. I never liked the mud flaps at all. My car never came with them, and I'm glad it didn't. I never had any problems with rock chips in that area as well. Only on the bumper, but thats a given.

My emblems are the same as yours, left the A C U R A there. I like that better than just the A.

Talking Sweet!

Our cars look better without so much badges, I remember taking my badges off. Goof-off hot water and floss. Then some wash, claybar, wax. Gotta love the look!
