heres a couple pics of the mods, the V2 will be up for sale in a week or two so keep an eye out for it!

and yea i was beating him from 40-100 (which is a win in itself) he was at my door then he put a bumper on me and started gaining when he shifted, damn 6 speed

i know ur boi with the RSX-S couldnt believe it when you pulled on him
nope, just used the TL-S ecu and engine harness, everything else is plug and play
im not sure if its related or not but my ABS light is on, im not sure if its because of the swap or if i messed up something during my legend caliper swap

oh icic cuz i've a 99 TL-P and im swaping a TL-S motor in it and some how one of the plug doesnt fit on the TL-S ecu =(
Did you use the type s engine harness?
are you putting in a 6 speed or stayin auto? Ur really gonna have problems with that 4 speed I think. There aren't any extra or missing plugs on the engine harness that goes to the tranny?
im going with a 05 tl 6 speed and im gonna run the richiev6 module so i dont think i will have any problem with the tl-s ecu
oh but i guess its too late now cuz i took out the upper and lower dash harness and got the upper in and still waiting for the lower one to pull out from the type S

I'm swaping in a 01 type s engine into a 01 clp.
I see I guy on ebay selling a type s, ecu,ignition+key,and immoblizer unit for 225.
Is that all I would need ? and do you know how to delete the vsa yet with no lights?

swap was finished today and i got the shop to throw it on the dyno, got 265hp 226tq

well since then i've added an ATLP exhaust and high flow cat so lets say that adds 15, so i would of been at 233. so the swap freed up 32hp, sounds right
then again they were on two different dynos two years apart but im happy with the number

i forgot to mention that i was able to do this because I bought Phee's car. im putting my 5 speed into his and reselling it so hopefully i'll only be paying for the labor, $1,500 for a 6 speed swap

How much did it cost you to have your auto ecu programed to your key ? when you first did you auto type s swap.
And did you "have to" bring the whole car there for them to do it or could you just walk in with the ecu and key in hand ?

hi richard, i took the car to the dealership to do it (it will run with your TL-p ecu, not sure if they need the whole car to do it or not) but i have an 'ilco' key so they couldn't reprogram it. So i went to a shop i frequent and they hooked me up. I forgot how much the dealer wanted but its ~50 i think
they need the car to do the programming the key to the ECU.

when I call around what is the proper way of asking what I want done.
Reprogam or reflash the ecu or ?
nope, no mods for fans
reprogram my key to my new ECU, if they don't understand that you should probably call somewhere else lol
