DC Sports New and Improved Headers

DC Sports New and Improved Headers
DC Sports realized that the 2 bolt design had its flaws so they re-designed the header and are now producign 3 bolt designs. The new part # is HHC5528. These were just built last week. Build date is 5/14/07. I would not recommend buying anything earlier than that build date otherwise you may be getting the 2 bolt design which had some issues with exhaust leaks. This design will eliminate that issue. These headers are ceramic coated and will help keep the heat inside the header rather than the engine bay. I took a few pics.
We will be getting more of these in stock. I have 2 sets but they were pre sold a while back.

$380 shipped and $5 for Paypal fees.

Hey Excelerate,
Out in California if you don't have the proper display of CARB issued stickers on every modifications that you make to your engine you will get nailed by police officers. I learned that the hard way.
I was wondering, do these new 3-bolt headers come with a CARB legal sticker or is it welded on the headers itself? Could you please take a picture of it if it's welded? I'm deeply concerned, I don't want to make the same mistake.
Thanks for your help.

Not only was one of the manifold pieces cracked, as I found later there were two cracks in the collector pipe, one where the o2 sensor screws in and on one side of the flex pipe. So far my XS headers are a ton better. No leaks, no resonance like my DC's although I did have the XS's coated by High Performance Coatings, similar to Jet Hot, so maybe that helped eliminate any possible resonance even though many haven't had any with XS.

By the way anybody that is thinking about doing a 6 speed swap into their TL, let me tell you, fsttyms1 if you don't know did it and his car flies!!! I could not believe how quick and smooth that thing was. He definitely got me thinking about doing the swap, it would be well worth the money, if I just didn't have a wedding to pay for. hmmmm....marriage...6speed....marriage....6speed. Too many hard decisions!!!!

They were really quick, after they got my headers it was a matter of 3-4 business days and they called me to let me know they were sending them back to me. My advice make sure you email or call their customer service before doing this as they have many locations across the US and some locations may be quicker than others, mine went to North Carolina. Hope this helps!!!
