DAMN i ate dust

ok guys after 100,050 miles my tranny went out for the first time. The motor mounts were fine so im going to talk to acura to get my 100 dollars back and within 4 days my tranny goes out. So its in there to get fixed hope it works out. The worst part it started slipping bad while i was taking my little sister to the emergency room and luckily i made it and the dealers piss me off cus i couldve been stranded somewere because they didnt ccheck the car out rite. Now do you guys think i should keep it or sale it? is it worth keeping after fixing?

Well if it wasnt doing it when they took it for a test drive there is no way for them to know. They cant inspect the part

i understand that but, to go out in 100 miles is very odd to me and motor mounts are fine.

Thats how it works. But id be willing to put money down that when driven for a while the signs were there for a good 2+ weeks.

You must have missed the hard shifts and early slippage.only way to really explain it.

And you can't blame the dealer,if you went in for motor mounts theres no way they would check the tranny.......unless they did a test drive...but for motor mounts ithat is highly unlikely.

Well are they going to replace it for you? If they say no which I doubt they will just wait until december 28th and then if the class action lawsuit goes through the warranty will be good to 109,000.
