It seems that Daewoo bought the old Legend design and produces it for other markets, at least they did until last year. Crazy! Also, take a gander at the "Chairman" model. Is that perhaps a re-badged Lexus LS400, or what, I can't seem to place it. Possibly, Daewoo wouldn't be going bankrupt if they offered the line pictured in the link above here in the USA...

The Daewoo is not a real Legend, but Honda did sell the G2 Legend design rights to Deawoo to market up untill 99 I believe, under the Daewoo Arcadia name. It looks like a Legend, and shares the same structual and mechanical design. However, I am not sure if Honda actually sold them the parts, or they have a 3rd party that now makes the parts for the Arcadia. Reliability now plays a big factor here. For looks, I like it, but they do not offer the G2 Coupe version. Other then that, I'll keep my 93 and 95 Legends, and wont be trading in for a 99 Arcadia anytime soon, or forever for that matter ![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/smile.gif)

That's funny cause a couple years ago when I was in Korea i could have SWORN i saw a Legend, but I knew that no Korean would EVER buy a Japanese car, but I guess for companies it's different, heh..

I highly doubt one ever made it across the pond to the US. Rebadging might be a possibility, I hear the seatbelts in the Arcadia have Honda written on them just like my Legend. I belive it also only came in a 220hp version, more than the Type I's but less than the Type II's. I was just happy that they kept building the Legend past 95, shows how timeless the design is.
