Ive been reading about transmission failures and such, and read that the D5 light flashing could be a sign... now what do you guys mean by flashing? constantly flasing? from time to time? I mean ive noticed it flash from time to time, but not sure of what it means... i dont see any other indicator lights. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

thats what it does- when you get hard on the throttle is most common time but if its a flashing-say 3-5 quick flashes then stops
your in danger of crashin
Time to smell the dipstick for burnt fluid and call the dealer

there are no other lights for the trans

whats your year and miles- clean title not salvage title?
external oil jet kit installed?

 

well thats not good news, Im at 135xxx and when I looked up the recalls for my vin# its said the external oiljet recall was done, but the transmission recall was still open... what are my options from here?
