D5 fading

Ok so I`m driving local road (40-45mp/h) using 4th gear and I noticed when I accelerated very slowly (less then 2000rpm) my D5 light faded, when I stopped accelerate or I accelerated well my D5 light was fine. Any ideas? It`s first symptom on failing tranny.
I hope not

highly doubtfull. just sounds like an electrical problem nothing to worry about. the tranny problem you can feel.

agreed. unfortunately it's tough to think of what it *could* be but it's not your tranny. if you're under warranty i would consider taking it in. if it's a ground issue (most likely) then it could potentially become worse over time. something to chew on.

It COULD be an alternator. At night do all the lights dim? Or, more importantly, is the charging system warning light on? (that would be obvious)

Everything looks fine. I noticed when you slowing down using just your engine this fading is going on. But no any issues what so ever.
The most imported it is not tranny!
