Custom Driving/City lights??

Looking for some information on how to do this. Would it honestly be as easy as drilling a hole in the high beam area of the housing, and getting the bulb/socket, and grommets, and of course the required wiring? Has anyone done this?

as much as i would LOVE TO i don't think i have it in me. Drilling a tiny hole is easy, cutting a massive hole out of ~$200 headlights and hoping everything goes smooth is another.

i dunno how you'll fit these driving lights in there then? having projectors will definitely clear up some room for those...

haha, i think i already did somewhere...

but i just cut them off and gave it its own power with a switch

in my case.. from my fog light mod, i gave it power from the fogs

in between, i added a switch so the high beams doesn't stay on every time the fogs turn on..

haven't gotten to add a DRL kit to it to let it be able to run at 50% power but i dont kno if that works since i never got around to it..

so basically, i ran my DRL with 100% power during the day and turning them off with a flick of a switch during when the sun is setting and nights...
