hey

i wanna get a custom catback system made.
my question is i have comptechs exhuast but i was wondering can i cut the end of my stock exhuast where the nut and bolt attaches and get it welded to the new y-pipe that would be made so that i can just make it a direct bolt on instead of welding the new y-pipe to my comptechs? or would i need to use the end of the stock y-pipe instead of the stock exhuast ends?

a muffler shop can do anything u want them to do

with all the piping around 300 dollars

 

true. a muffler shop can weld 2 y-pipes onto a y-pipe and give u a real quad exhaust system if u really wanted, infact, they can jus bend ur pipes to have them come out the side and give u side pipes like the new vipers.

cut the comptechs and have new piping welded from a new y-pipe to the mufflers

 

300 is way too much for a custom cat-back.
I got mine at around 120 i believe. ( Whole custom w/ y pipe)
Its really loud (unless you have silencers) but sounds sweet.

120 is a gd deal coz labour costs that much as well
