but yeah material costs would not be the problem, but if you made a solid one without pivots , i proably be willing to buy one off you

only problem on here would be is you have to become a vendor then, which would cost you money then

good decision- in a week you will be back raving about how much 90 bucks improves the car and everyone should have this

tip- the bolts the bar attaches to are on tight --as in a 4 foot long pipe over the handle of a 1/2 drive breaker bar- NOT a ratchet- a breaker bar
And a buddy to push that or leg it as you keep the socket on the bolt
Make sure they go back on just as tight as you can humanly get them, then you tighten the crossbar adjuster bolts and its on

If your car is lowered -you should be crossing steep things at an angle already- this will reinforce that technique~

Call marcus or however the `in stock check` is- make sure he has one today
they get a shipment then its gone quick-
Read his signature on his threads in black market- there is a discount code there- was azinerocks but may have changed

you should see the tsx bars list!- about 10 they can add to the structure to make it nearly race car stiff, we are lucky to get 2. Gen 3 didnt get any from japan because its not sold in japan but the gen2 is

Bump!

^ +1 I put one on about a month ago. People told me you wont feel anything but as soon as I took a few of the same on-ramps and hard corners the car felt great. Quick lane changes are nice also.

Even tho my brace was FREE!! (thanks Marcus!) its well worth the money

I dont know who told you that you wont feel anything!!

Unless what they meant was no more feeling of opposite roll entering corners
or no feeling of a flimsy beer can for a frame while making quick lane change and back manuevers

How are those E3 plugs doing in the TL? pulled one for inspection? center electrode wear? color of side electrode??
gas mileage differance?

it flexes but it doesnt stretch. so it keeps the ends of the chassis closer to each other in essence. you get less lateral stretching during turns and it causes a consistent movement on both sides. a sway bar flexes at the joints as well but it ties the sides of the chassis to each other.

same effect except and a lower point on the car which will cause an even stiffer effect during cornering while in the throttle

Anyone have a pictures on a lowered car to see how low it actually sits... Just worried it getting ripped off on a big bump... lowered pretty good so not sure if its worth it on a really low car.

LMFAO, but anyways look at Rajca's build thread, he has one on, and ripped it off a couple of times

ill let the pics explain
cusco bar and custom bar underneath

custom bar, cusco mounts. hit a ditch. destroyed the mounts

my other underbrace bar that i made was solid from one bolt hole to the other. 3/16" round bar.
hit some rail road tracks, few ditched and some uneven streets. bar is fine. bolt holes on subframe are bent back bc of it. so i took it out. im done dealing with it.

remember, my subframe is lowed 1 additional inch.

It was some nob back when I first got the car.

The plugs are good, I changed the oil & filter, deleted the mid-muffler, washed my intake filter and got new tires at the same time as the install of the plugs so my gas mileage did go up but I cant say it was from the plugs. I havent pulled one yet but they should be ok. Have you heard anything bad about the E3's

If you drive a lowered car- learn to drive a lowered car!!
Stock height will have no clearance issues

Its not that tough to avoid or conquer the steep driveways and potholes- raised manhole covers during repaving etc

approach steep angles at a directional angle, one front wheel at a time over the bump or thru the dip should keep you safe

Im set at normal low for Teins on 18s -01TL,
and the lower bar does take some minor scratches and hits- but it saves my cat convertor from damage (which sadly must remain- not into installing every 2 years for inspection)

i know how to drive a lowered car. but if a 45lbs crane hook flies off a truck and u got no where to go, what do u ? stuff is gonna break when u hit it going 35mph

and chicago roads suck (kris already know that as he blew on of his shocks)

the custom bar was half an inch off the ground, and the tire was half an inch away from the tip of the fender

I wasnt poking at you raj-
rather at generic someone else' who took out a raised manhole-road was being resurfaced and had been excavated..did a number on the bar--was lucky thats all it took out!

mine has extra marks I cant explain.. and dont want to know how the wife treats it~
Just might be one of those generic type people

This part is a performance part. As such it is not really going to function based on the height of your car. If you have a great performing suspension for the street, odds are your car is not on the ground and you won't have problems scraping this brace. If you super low, you are going to drag it, but then this part wasn't really meant for you

I was thinking of something cheap like the lower brace. Maybe a rear lower brace?

Maybe some kind of engine brace/damper so I can stop breaking mounts!

If its only $80-$100 im sure guys would jump all over them.

No room in the back for a rear tie bar. I've already looked with duel stock exhaust, its not happening. The exhaust would get in the way

their a thread about an engine dampner, not sure what the status on it is

, yeah, as far as status, they did a "final" fitmit, but they did not quite cut out enough of it, to go around the low side A/C port , so the updated design had to be sent back to the manufacture to be recut , so waiting on the arrival of that

btw just looked at dates, and it should actually be here , and just called and should be picking it up this coming week

Weak!

Yeah the engine dampner thread looks promising.
