This was me trying to stay with Blackshadow going home.

 

I had a really great time at the meet and finally meeting Tim in person and a couple of new faces.
And what better way to top off the meet than munchies at Hooter's.

If that was your speed then I must have been going @ 120-130 mph because I had quite a few carlengths on you. I didn't even realize I was going that fast. Guess I just wanted to test out my new AEM CAI. I just love the sound it makes when VTEC kicks in. FEI, there was nobody in front of me when I took off so don't start giving me a lecture. And Joey is my witness that the road was empty.

Binh, I was going a little faster, but couldn't snap a pic when I was hitting about 115. I wasn't even looking at the camera, was watching the road. Oh, BTW, you had a head start that's why you where a few car lenghts ahead also.

You forgot to mention that I was giving swaybar demonstrations with high speed turns for a couple of the guys... I think they were pretty convinced...

grrrr....i wish i knew about this, or at least my dad knew, he's the one with the TL.

anyway...i was up at the pike in my friends silver eclipse, we saw a bunch of TL's cruisin the pike....but we couldnt get back onto the pike and we had to hop on the highway. I called my dad to come up (winkly2000) but he couldnt get up there right away.... So anywho, we ended up taking the next exit and getting back on the pike and unfortunately we couldnt find any TL's We tried the acura dealer thinking thats where you guys would be, but nope! Anyway, looked like a good turnout, wish I was checking these boards more often and I could have known, of course my dad never checks the TL meet board...grrr.

bdimc, whats wrong with your navi? not the tv kit is it?

 

It's funny it did that about two weeks ago also. The screen becomes black and white. It has lines in it looking like a bar code. It looks like the navi software doesn't load up all the way. It happened yesterday most of the day, and on the way home it was fine.

Two weeks ago it was raining too, so I don't know if it's the weather that affected it. I hope it's not and doesn't come back again. I hope it's not the tv kit too, b/c I can't fix it. Good thing it's not a permanent problem, on and off.

Glad to hear everyone had a blast...Wanted to join u guys but unfortunately I had a birthday party to go to in the afternoon and the yankees-mets game in the evening. Next meet I'll hope to catch up with u guys again.

 

I had a blast at the meet nice to meet Tim, Ed and Adam and all the other guys. Sorry I didn't get to do Hooters but maybe next time.
