cross drilled rotors

For those of you that have cross drilled rotors,do you hear any noise from them while you brake and the same noise but lighter when your not braking? I especially hear it when i'm next to a wall or another car.

i think it's the holes causing the noise.

it's like a "thrrrrrrrr" sound more than a ticking.

Is that what that sound was?

I have Lexus SC430 and ever since I got Brembo Cross Drilled/Slotted rotors and my rear was making a funny noise.

I had few people take a look at the brake including my self. Also took the brakes apart and we could not figuer out what was causing the noise but my brakes were working fine so I lefted at that.

I guess the rotors were causing that noise.

Now I feel much better.

I do have one question.

How come the front ones don't make that noise?

Anyone know?

My camry are cross drilled. they didn't make any sound untul using them for a couple of months. I think it seems to be the tention of the rotors. they are to many holes making the rotors less dense and it sounds like the rotors are about to crack. that's the whole reason i went with slotted on the tl, no sounds and stops just as good or even better for the streets. Drills are for track.
Peace, im out....
