this morning i get in my car and the clock light decided to come back on after about a year of NO LIGHT.

i think i'm going to do the LED conversion for 3 reasons:

1. it looks good (i would keep the green light).

2. you don't have these stupid problems with the lights burning out and costing $5-$10 a piece from acura (although i got them for cheaper online).

3. if you have to change a light for whatever reason you won't have them all burn out at once from pulling the dash trim off (which i've had happen twice).

the clock light is easy to change though, or it could just be loose....like 3 of the lights in my climate control panel

After a few months of mine going on and off intermittently, I had the dealership look at it this week. They wanted $100 to replace it.

I'll keep whacking the dash to keep mine lit.

 

I don't think clock lights blow, I think they have connection problems. I had a 99 Accord that did this, and I hit the dash above the clock and it came back on and didn't ever go back off.

 

This clock thing is really bad eh? I tried to open the dash and it was rather hard...so I decided to hold on until I have more time. But yeah, can't see clock at night just no good. I hope it will on again soon
