Couple of questions. need some help
1st issue:
Last week, I start my car in the morning and notice belt squeak coming from the power steering pump. So, I though once it worms up it will stop. But, it didnt even in high speed I could still hear it as I accelerated (65-80 MPH) The belt is fairly in a good condition. the noise wont stop....As I was checking the belt I realized that my side motor mount was touching the bracket.
So, one of my friends told me that my front mount is shot. I try to put it in drive, break and push the gas and release. But the RPM’s will not pass 3000. so it hard to tell that way.
QUESTIONS:
Could it be the motor mount casing the noise?
Do I need a new belt?
Could it be the pulley?
how can I tell my front mount is shot?
HID’s
I notice my HID look white and not like HID’s at all. Do I need new bulbs?

What year and model are you driving?
If its a gen2 99-03, unless the old owner installed new headlights you are not subject to burn in time of 100 hours use. The lights dont get bluer- thats a result of what color rating you buy- many threads on the subject- stock 4300K white ,aftermarket 6000k white with blue tint
Many gen2 cars are now needing bulbs- about 4-6 years life depending on how much use- they also get dimmer which you wont notice until new one in.
Front motor mount is very common failure and is usually spotted by tech when in dealer for trans problem. Pass side motor mount also fails if it goes a while driven with broken front mount
