Cool It Could Happen...and DID!

I picked up my new 2002 Satin Silver w/Navi on Saturday! I still can't believe it. I hit the backroads on Sunday morning and this ride is sweet. Better in every way than my 2000 TL. Thank you Easter Bunny and thanks to all of you guys that pushed me along...

The wife drove it Sunday afternoon and said it was WAY better than the old TL

Hi Fins^,

I am just wondering how much you paid for your TL-S in the Bay area. I am also looking for one (WDP without NAVI) and would like to know if you were able to find a dealer who is willing to make a deal here. I am planning to go to So. Cal if necessary.

Thanks for your input.

Sunnyvale Acura

I know they had a full lot and were trying to move some cars, but they were VERY busy on Saturday and may not be as eager to deal anymore. I know at least one other person got a TL-S that day and it was white.

This is one of the things I have noticed the most about my TLS compared to my TL. It's not just that the extra horsepower let's you take off faster (which it does), but it's the smoothness of the engine in everyday driving.

Let's see. Much better handling, even with new tires. The car doesn't wander like the TL did on the freeway and just feels more solid. The throttle control is better, making it easier to start out without the lurch of my old TL. The seats are more comfortable, for both of us, and the memory feature is a great add. We both agree that the car IS quieter than the TL. The 6 disc changer is a nice add and the Navi is a blast. We both like the Satin Silver and Black combination better than the Naples Gold/Parchment. Nice looking wheels too. The window tint seems darker. The fog lights are neat...blah, blah, blah

Can't wait to break it in and get rowdy with it.

Let's see...add Doc ($45), Tax ($2640) and Lic ($475) and it was about $36K out the door. Ouch

Sure is a FUN ride though
