I live in Liverpool, NY which is about 2 minutes from Syracuse, NY. On my way to work I have to take I-81 which is a interstate obviously. So, I'm cruising along at about 75 MPH (Speed limit is about 65MPH) Anyways, I look in my rearview mirror and I see about 3 cops heading towards me, so I'm like oh yeah this should be fun, What the hell did I do now? So I look over in the right lane in my rearview mirror and low and behold it's a Blue TL Type-S. You should of seen the son of a ***** whip by me, followed shortly by the three officers. At the speed he past me he must of been doing 120-135, that's my guess. Gotta tell you, quite a site.

All I can think of is that the insurance for TL-S are gonna go up......

 

Musta been cool, but i hate to see what those cops did to that TL-S if the guy didn't stop.

 

Was the other driver in the TL-S old or young?

 

I don't think he had a chance to get a good look at that guy consider the fact that

1. the TL-S was going FAST

2. you got 3 other police cars behind you..........

 

Hope it wasn't any of our TL brothas from NY.. or even their car, could have been a car theif..

that's crazy though.. did the cops ever catch him?? Everytime I see one of those cop chase shows, the car being chased always ends up in a wreck.. I'd hate to see a blue TL-S wrecked..

 

I have a police scanner cause sometimes I get really bored and need something to do but anyways, HE GOT AWAY. There looking for him right not and got the police helicopter out. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE COULDA GOT AWAY. With 3 officers on him but this is the story I'm hearing. I'l try to verify it later with Syracuse Police.

If you thought 3 cop cars were bad, On friday night i was coming home and got onto the highway and about 2 minutes later i look into the rearview mirror and i see cop flashes. Then it got closer so i pulled to the side and an old ass hooptie was being chased and 10 cop cars and a ghetto bird was after him. I wanted to see some of the action so i sped up and was going about 85 mph and i noticed a car was behind me. It was a cop car(he didnt have his flashes on). So i pulled over again and another 10 cop cars were chasing that guy down. I was about to get off the exit because that is where i exit to get home and i see cops ahead on that exit. The old ass hooptie got off the same exit also and went to the gas station right off the exit and the cops surrounded him. I didnt get to see the guys face, probably some old guy. Thats my cop chase experience.

 

If the police has rammed him, I' pretty sure he wouldn't have gotten away.

 

i was down at the spot for local street races about a year ago and i saw a pretty sweet chase. it was a cl type-s going about 130-135 with two state troopers about a quarter of a mile behind him. i hopped in my car to try to see what happened (this spot crosses a bridge so i thought i might have a chance of seeing which way they went in the distance). got across the bridge noone was pulled over. two days later i take my tl to the dealership to get it serviced and low and behold there is a dust covered slightly damaged (looked like he drilled a curb or something) cl type s. i ask the service department guy what happened to that car......sure enough, theft recovery. he said they had found it in the woods and brought it to the acura dealership to try to get a key for it ( i guess to take it to impound )
it was pretty sweet but i feel for the guy that had his car stolen.
