Coolant Leak Passenger side
So slowly but surely getting to roots of little problems, opened up the hood two days ago, and coolant spray is all over the passenger side, any ideas where this could be coming from, besides the water pump didnt know there was anything that could leak?? Water pump is about a year old.

The lines that run to the heater core go in on the passenger side, there is a coolant cross over pipe that runs under the lower intake manifold. Try to locate the actual spot its leaking from. Wash up the engine bay, let it dry then start the car and let it idle, let the radiator fans come on a few times to make sure its up to operating temp and try to locate the leak.

All of the coolant lines from the intake side, including the heater hoses were replaced, so i know for sure its nothing on that side. Just didnt know what was on the timing belt side that could cause such a spray that was all over the engine and hood.

Don't be putting off repairing any sort of coolant leak, .....
as ya may end up with bigger problems should ya run low in coolant and start sucking air.

The other one i was talking about is #10 which runs under the lower intake manifold.

like i said before, clean things up, start the car and let it idle and see if you can see where its coming from. If you dont see it right away let the engine run at least until the radiator fans come on.
Also MAKE sure the overflow tank is to the correct line and the radiator is full.

Just make sure that the rad's coolant level is up and the fans come on as he said.

I know the only issue i had within the last couple days, was that little plastic tab that turns off the brake lights broke so i had put a little piece of plastic there till i got the oem part but it was leaving the brakes applied so drove for like 3 mins with the brakes being pressed was extremely noticeable when i couldnt pass 20mph so was gonna drive home thinking something major was wrong but when i removed the piece of plastic the brakes let go so drove fine after that but than noticed the coolant spraying after that.

Checked twice now and no leak. Only thing I found was a little dent on one of the heater hoses it was touching the rear engine, but squeezed and squeezed and no leak. Drove the boy to school this morning and nada so I'm a little puzzled now cause no coolant missing either.

If you got it narrowed down to the heater hoses....remove them and put some gasket sealer on the connector fitting along with new hose clamps.
